Sunrise Wedding At Punalu’u Black Sand Beach On The Big Island Of Hawaii

We always love hearing our couples’ love stories: Gary & Elizabeth’s Elopement
As many modern couples, do we swiped our way into our love story. It was a perfect day and the city was buzzing as the first Bucks championship game was set to begin on our first date. We met at a rooftop restaurant in Milwaukee and were both more comfortable with one another than expected and didn’t want to leave one another sides. So we kept the date going! We took a walk over to the public market and grabbed Macarons for dessert, then took a short walk around the block, still not ready to part we headed to a bar to watch the game. From our initial meeting Gary knew Elizabeth would be someone special in his life. It didn’t take too much to start our relationship and discussing marriage. Si non nunc quandro, latin for ‘if not now then when? As life can, it got a little hectic …c’est la vie! There were good times and roller coaster of trials and tribulations to get her to this point. But making it through has strengthened our bond and assures us we can make it through whatever comes our way next in the years to come. As we intertwine our lives with one another and put together the pieces of our destiny, we pray our love spirit and dedication to one another allows us a bright future.

Hawaii will always be a part of Elizabeth and Gary’s story—there’s no better place to say “I do” than on one of the most gorgeous black sand beaches in the world: Punalu’u Black Sand Beach.

Thank you to Big Island Elopement for making their day so special.
