Ritapa & Scott: My fiancee and I initially planned to visit the Big island and then thought it would be a great place to take engagement shots. After some searching we came across Sandra and Kris and their work. Obviously they have a great portfolio but after meeting them on skype we felt very comfortable going with them. We explained to them some thoughts we had about landscapes and what scenes we might want and they came up with a few places that might work. They had an amazing eye for what would look beautiful and stunning. For the actual shooting, they were flexible and extremely easy to work with. At the end of it, their turn-around was awesome. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a photographer on the big island.
Crystal & Chet Sandra & Kris shot our elopement at Puakea Ranch back in October, and my husband and I cannot say enough good things about them. The pictures were GORGEOUS and artistic. Friends and family raved about how special the photos were. Sandra & Kris made us feel very comfortable and were great at directing us to good spots around the ranch and at a local beach. (This was our first time to the Big Island, so we really had no idea where we should have photos taken.) We placed all of our faith in Sandra & Kris and were rewarded with amazing photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. I highly, highly recommend them…so much so that I actually finally broke down and created a Yelp account just to review them.
M & M LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Kris and Sandra. As people they are adventures, warm, hilarious, creative. As photographers they are professional, visionary, and extremely talented. My fiancé and I were looking for engagement pictures and I searched around for quite a bit before stumbling upon Couple Cups’ website. And I am so glad I did. They put extra time into finding the perfect locations for us, they had all our pictures edited in a week, and the photos were seriously drop dead gorgeous. We have recommended them multiple times since and look forward to sharing them with anyone who is looking for any kind of photography work. If only we had found them before I booked our wedding photographer, my fiancé and I would have flown them up to Alaska to shoot our wedding this summer. We love them that much.

It’s very hard to pick vendors with a destination wedding but I knew seeing their portfolio and talking with them that I was going with the right people. Everything they do is amazing! When I finally met them on our wedding day, they were so sweet and excited for us. They are the perfect team! When our photos arrived I was blown away! They captured every memory so beautifully and I got to relive every part of our day looking through those photos.
